Roxborough Music
Festival/Taste of Roxborough Looking for vendors! Saturday, September 10th,
12 noon til 10 p.m. The festival will be widely promoted with considerable
support from numerous local businesses like RE/MAX EDGE, Sterling Ranch,
Waterton Tavern, Perella’s Pizza, & Sonic, just to name a few. All proceeds
will go to Hands Across Roxborough.
Space is limited and first come, first serve -- $50 reserves your spot.
Vendors must supply their own table, awning, and weighted tie-downs to
prevent awnings from blowing away. You will be responsible for your own set-up,
workers to run your booth, and tear down. We are working on securing a
generator for power. We ask that you be set up by 11 a.m. and ready to open for
business at 12 p.m. sharp. If you wish to donate a percentage of your proceeds
to Hands Across Roxborough, that would be greatly appreciated! To make
your reservation official, please email kelleybroome23@comcast.net with a
brief description of what you’re selling/promoting; do you need power?; contact
name; email; phone number and send your $50 check (payable to Hands Across Roxborough) to 7129 Eagle
Rock Drive, Roxborough, CO 80125.
Kelley will also be
handling the volunteers. We will need everything from help with set up
and tear down, help with parking, trash and recycling, etc.
More about the event: The event is free, and donations jars will be out! We will
have bounce houses and face painting for the kids! The local
restaurants will be serving food and drinks. It will be similar to past
fairs at the Roxborough Marketplace, but with a great stage and sound set up,
and very talented locals!
We will deflated bounce houses at around 6 p.m.
and start moving towards a more adult event, and I would encourage people
to set up a sitter since Waterton Tavern and Perella's will be serving drinks!
Yoga In the Park
Beginners or experienced unite with your fellow Roxborough neighbors in a healthy positive enlightening forum. This takes place every Saturday through Summer. Registered RWN members have received more information on this on Facebook as well as through the monthly newsletter.
OnTrack Fitness Bootcamp
OnTrack offers a bootcamp at Haney Park that is fun, challenging and rewarding, giving our clients an opportunity to work out with like-minded individuals who encourage and inspire each other to achieve their own "personal best" on a fitness level.
